About Me

Dear Parents,

Assalamu Alaykum
,

I am very excited being the second-grade teacher this year!

This is my first year at Al Huda Academy. I’ve been teaching for more than 6 years. I taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade and worked as an assistant for 4thgrade.

I worked also as a private Tutor in Arabic, Math, and Quran. I love working in Islamic schools and being able to teach my students our valuable Islamic manners.

I believe that 2nd grade is a year of important transition; where acquisition of new skills is accelerated. I also believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students to meet their fullest potential in these areas.

I will use a supportive behavior strategy more than a corrective one, as I know how valuable teacher encouragement and motivation is.

I will do my best to make the learning interesting and fun at the same time for the students, by using multiple methods of teaching.

Another key to student learning is the parent involvement. I request all the parents for your continued involvement with your child's schooling so I can provide the best possible education to my students.

Therefore, please check your child's back pack every day for homework and updates. I will also be sending emails and newsletters to keep you informed of the happenings in our classroom.
I believe strongly in working closely with parents and maintaining an open channel of communication so don't hesitate to contact me with any questions and concerns.

Sincerely,

Ms.Ismail.
